Mountain Climbing

Mt. Kenya is the second highest peak mountain in Africa. Mountain Kenya is an inspiring site to be at,the ragged series of peaks are crowned with snow and its slopes are covered with thick forest. The mountain is better seen at dawn during the sunset as the light gets through over the surrounding forest.

Main road access to Mt Kenya is via Nanyuki or Naro Moru, both easily accessed from Nairobi by bus or private transport. Some trekkers and Climbers access the Mountain from the small village of Chogoria.

The mountain peak has more snow and it is desired that guests who climb the mountain have mountain climbing equipment.
