The African Fish Eagle

The haunting cry of an African fish eagle will remain with many a traveler long after they have left Africa. Dramatic and regal the African fish eagle which has a black and white raptor is often to be found perched a top a water side tree, throwing its head back to utter it's loud eeried cry. The African fish eagle will then suddenly swoop down over the water, talons out stretched, spear a wriggling fish and ascend again to its perch to eat it.
